SBA and USDA B&I Financing

SBA Loan Programs

The Small Business Administration (SBA) is a government agency that provides financial support to small businesses located across the country. The SBA makes a guarantee or promise to cover a portion of the lender’s losses, if a borrower defaults on their loan, thus reducing the risk for lenders. This allows the lender the ability to make loans to businesses to which they would otherwise not lend.

The SBA 7(a) and 504 loan programs provide benefits to new and existing business owners including long-term financing, improved cash flow, and fixed interest rates. These loan programs can be used to finance start-up businesses, business acquisitions, partner buyouts, single-purpose real estate properties, nonconforming real estate properties, working capital, and long-term capital expenditures.

SBA 7(a)

  • Loan amounts from $350,000 to $5,000,000
  • 5% equity injection
  • Variable and fixed rates
  • Ground-up construction and existing structures

SBA 504

  • Loan amounts greater than $5,000,000
  • 10% equity injection
  • Blended variable and fixed rates
  • Ground-up construction and existing structures
